Blockchain Introductory Resources
Something I get asked frequently is โwhat would be a good resource to learn about blockchain?โ While there are plenty of resources ranging from videos, websites, and reports to academic papers, most donโt provide a simple introduction to the topic that can be grasped in 20โ30 minutes. Of course, it depends on the background of the reader and what they are looking to understandโif you have a decent idea of programming and cryptography, itโs not difficult to start. Expectations also vary between a student, a developer, and a CIO. Further, it is important not to get confused or discouraged by the many blockchain designs and the many unfounded claims around blockchains and cryptocurrency.
The following is an attempt to list various blockchain resources I have recommended over time to my students, customers, and colleagues.
